Charles Fenerty
Charles has 42 years experience in all aspects of architectural design and presentation, construction management, construction permit drawings, specifications, and inspections.
He has completed all types of projects including custom residences, multi family housing, multi story condominiums, office buildings, medical buildings, luxury apartments, resort hotels, clubhouses, restaurants, and churches.
From 1970 - 1986, Chuck worked and lived in the Philadelphia and New Jersey Area. During this period, Chuck worked with many major architectural firms in the area. In addition to designing major residential and commercial projects, Chuck worked on many major hotel and casino projects in Alantic City including luxury suites, penthouses, and offices at the Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino, Claridge Hotel & Casino, The Tropicana, Playboy, and Hilton Hotel & Casino.
In 1986, Chuck moved to Cape Coral, where he was the Project Manager and Designer for Stout & Gerald Architects until 1992. During this time he did the design and construction documents for custom residences, multi-family residential developments, Hi-Rise condominium projects, and many of the amenities at the Sanibel Harbor Resort Hotel. Chuck, together with Andrew Conlyn, formed Associates in Architecture & Planning, Inc. in 1994, where, as principle, Chuck continues to do all aspects of architectural design, working drawings, specifications, and construction management.
Andrew Conlyn
has over 30 years experience in all aspects of architectural design and presentation, construction permit drawings, specifications, construction management, and inspections.
Andrew has a Master of Architecture degree and holds current registration in the states of Florida (AR0006875) and Tennessee (00015041). Andrew is also NCARB certified which allows him to obtain licenses quickly from all the states and many foreign countries.
After obtaining his degrees at Texas A&M University in 1972, Andrew worked for a local architectural firm before moving to the Pensacola, FL area. While in Pensacola Andrew worked with several large Architectural Firms, producing working drawings on public schools, large governmental buildings, and recreational facilities. From 1977 through 1992, Andrew was the president of his own company, designing and producing numerous projects including a two-story 100,000 sqft church / eductaional building, smaller churches, retail shops, residential buildings, restaurants, and concondominiums.
In 1992 Andrew began working for Stout & Gerald Architects in Cape Coral, FL, where produced several high end four story concrete and frame dwellings, condominiums, recreational centers, and churches. In 1994 Andrew, along with Charles Fenerty, formed Associates in Architecture & Planning, Inc. where he continues to do all aspects of architectural design, working drawings, specifications, and construction management.

To Whom It May Concern:
At first I was a bit apprehensive and not sure how to begin the redesigning of my existing 4000 sq.ft.home in Florida. Chuck Fenerty with Associates in Architecture laid my fears to rest. We first started with a program list of my needs requirements and after a few design meetings he produced schematic design drawings which laid the ground work to produce preliminary drawings and a color rendering.
At the start he explained each phase of the project.The redesigned of the residence was approximately 12,000 sq.ft. a/c area plus pool and lanai area. Chuck was always there when I had questions or concerns about construction issues and changes.He also completed the interior design drawings which included all the selected materials and several color boards.
In addition Associates in Architecture provided a construction management service thru the construction process, which looked out for my best interest while I was out of town.
I would not hesitate to recommend Associates in Architecture & Planning, Inc and Chuck Fenerty to anyone who is needing an architectural firm with design build experience.
The Project has been completed for three years and they still continue to help me whenever necessary.

In recent years I have worked with Mr. Fenerty as the design / architect on the development of my private residence in North Carolina and Chelsea Place, a commercial shopping center in Cape Coral, FL.
